Gore Screens
Nebraska-based 4DRulers releases new screenshots from its upcoming action game.
Nebraska-based development studio 4DRulers has released four new screenshots from its upcoming action game Gore. The developer also announced that, although it has completed a playable demo of the game, it cannot release that demo until some business opportunities it came upon at the Australian Game Developers Conference have been resolved.
Gore is a first-person shooter with a complex storyline that takes players through three distinct episodes: postapocalyptic Earth, medieval Earth, and an alien world. The game features both indoor and outdoor environments, as well as low-gravity environments. It is being built using Slam Software's AMP 3D game development system, and it uses advanced animation and rendering technology. The non-player characters in the game are controlled by a proprietary artificial intelligence system called ART, or acquired recalled tactics. ART lets non-player characters behave according to both their environment and their prior experiences.
