Grab A 1.5TB SanDisk MicroSD Card On Sale Before Amazon's Big Spring Event Ends

Amazon also has the recently released SanDisk 2TB Extreme microSD card for its best price yet.

SanDisk 1.5TB and 2TB microSD cards are on sale for great discounts at Amazon on the final day of the retailer's Big Spring Sale (March 31). The sale kicked off last week, and while Samsung's 1TB microSD cards were (and still are) prominently featured, SanDisk's cards were noticeably absent. But that has changed, with the SanDisk Ultra 1.5TB discounted to $95 (was $150) and the new 2TB Extreme on sale for $176 (was $210), which is the best price yet for the largest microSD card on the market today.

If you're looking for a high-capacity microSD card to expand your storage on Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, or handheld Windows PC, we've put together a short list of the best deals from popular brands below and a longer list with more deals at the bottom of this story.

For those who want more than 1TB, the aforementioned SanDisk cards are the only options from reputable brands available today. When it comes to 1TB cards, you have a bunch of options from Samsung, SanDisk, and more manufacturers. If you're looking to save some additional cash, you could opt for popular budget models from Lexar or TeamGroup.

Why doesn't it make sense for Switch owners to get the SanDisk Extreme?

San Disk cards are hot garbage

Every single SanDisk card I have over 128GB is a nightmare and it refuses to be written to without sitting there for hours.

Cards are not recognized or they keep saying write protected when they are not.

Even after trying 6 different readers and 20 different micro to SD adapters they still refuse to write, I have a 256, 400 , And 512

They all have the same exact issue every time I try to write to them in Windows.

I never have these issues with my Samsung EVO cards or my Kingston cards using the same hardware.

The issue is only with SanDisk they make garbage cards and I have to sit there for six hours or more before they will let me write to them most of the time.

Don't waste your time with this trash and just get an EVO or something else.

@ar76: Maybe the problem is Windows? That seems to be the common denominator with your problems.

I haven't really had problems with the SD cards but I did have a problem with a SanDisk USB drive, and there have been lawsuits over the drive failures
