Gran Turismo Sport E3 Trailer Shows Off Gorgeous Racing Gameplay
See the game in action along with some of the game's new features.
Sony has released a new gameplay trailer for Gran Turismo Sport, its upcoming PS4 racer, ahead of E3 next week.
The video initially focuses on showing clips of cars racing and the different environments in which this action takes place. It then dives into some of the game's other features, including its social component, which lets you show off your progress through what amounts to a Gran Turismo social network. You can add friends, comment on each other's photos, and so on.
The video also shows off the level of customization you can expect, as a car is quickly outfitted with a series of decals and numbers. We then get a look at GT Sport Live, the game's spectator/streaming feature.
Later in the video, a new Photo Scapes mode is demoed. This isn't a standard Photo mode that merely allows you to take better screenshots; this lets you physically place cars in different environments and then apply filters, tweak exposure, and so on.
Sport launches for PS4 on November 15. A previously planned beta has been canceled, and the full game won't offer dynamic time or weather. For more, check out our impressions of the game.
