GTA 5 Online Adding $6/Month Subscription, Comes With Cash And Rewards Every Month

That would be cool if GTA VI took place in Carcer City when Claude and the gang were there and maybe James Earl Cash plays a role too!

GTA 5 is my favorite game.

As long as this provides GTA 6 with the funds needed to be even more immersive and fun im all game :D

People seem to complain that this is terrible and it's because of mobile gaming but isn't this kind of thing normal already? Just look at MMO's. Most of the big ones that make tons of money have subscription services and yet you still have to pay for the content they add. Just to give R* a little credit at least they add content for free (although the content in the game is so expensive it basically forces you to buy shark cards if you want it all).

I should state that I have never bought a shark card and grinded for all the money and cars I have so no, I'm not contributing to this problem.

Complain all you want, but as long as people keep paying for these kind of "services" gaming companies are going to keep doing this. I don't blame them, there is one born every minute. I'll just sit in my corner playing 6 month all games at a discount.

It’s kind of insulting that Rockstar decided to make it $6 a month. As if $5 a month would have been too cheap. I am still a fan of Rockstar but pretty shady pricing strategies, though I guess it’s up to them.

I just want to be able to continue setting up my nightclub but every time I go online it says too many CEOs already signed in so I can't continue so won't be paying anything extra

It's a shame that mobile gaming has in part created a community that sees daylight robbery as normaility. support this at your peril as it's a test for Rockstar moving forward.

Rockstar needs to come clean, either release a snippet of gta6, and state the funding from GTA remastered version will go towards the funding of GTA 6, and people will be fare(however they know if that happens it's cyberpunk 2077)but by milking GTA5 will only damage the credibility of gta6, and if they have no faith in the gaming community why should anyone have any faith in rockstar.

I got the pS5 new version and it looks "good" but it really is stale. Fortunately, it was 10 bucks. But the online cash grab is a joke. They're free to try this, just as McDonalds is free to charge 20 bucks for a crappy hamburger. But I ain't buyin.

So they expect gamers to buy this game over and over, make everything so expensive in the online economy to strongly encourage people to buy shark cards, and now want gamers to buy a monthly subscription? What are the billions of dollars not covering the cost of the servers?

I'm pretty much done with most AAA games. They are less about making a game fun and entertaining and more about how much money the gamer should be spending.

I played gta online just until the ps5 version came out. At that point i already had one of each property and the big vehicles. Then installed the ps5 version, didn’t work so deleted the game and moved on. I am so glad i’m not playing it anymore.

To anyone wanting to play the game at this point, just don’t. RIP GTA franchise.

This announcement gives pause to any hype I might’ve had for GTA VI.

I don't understand how GTA online is still going after all these years. Part of the allure of Rockstar games is their detailed and interactive worlds that allow the player to feel more immersed in the story and environment.

That's probably the worst subscription service I've ever seen. How much virtual money could you buy with those $6? But hey, you get discounts on virtual money with it. Isn't that great?

Should have done this on the start, I don't honestly know who Rockstar + is for, this game is 9 years old man, who doesn't have infinite amounts of money in it right now? I don't play anymore, haven't for years, but I imagine if you've been playing this every day, you have more money than you know what to do with in game.
