GTA Trevor Actor Wants A Very Definitive Exit In GTA 6

"Pass the torch" to new protagonists with some extreme violence, says Steven Ogg.

First a hello, then sent to hell. That's the scenario the actor behind Grand Theft Auto V's Trevor would like to see for the character in Grand Theft Auto VI. While Steven Ogg hasn't reportedly done any work on the next entry in the franchise, he'd love to see Trevor "pass the torch" to new leads in a way that sees his brains turning into pink goo.

Speaking with ScreenRant, Ogg explained that his wish for GTA VI is "if Trevor appeared in it just to be killed at the beginning." This would be a full-circle moment for Trevor if Rockstar followed along with Ogg's suggestion. That's because Trevor kills GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned protagonist Johnny Klebitz in GTA V. "Pass the torch, stomp Trevor's head in, and sort of put an end to that and allow a new generation to take over," Ogg said.

Last year, Ogg was reflecting on the past with Trevor instead of looking into the future. For instance, the actor revealed he recorded lines for a James Bond-like story DLC for GTA V that would have seen Trevor going undercover. However, that add-on obviously never happened, and it was reportedly scrapped because of the success of GTA Online.

As for GTA VI, the wait for the second trailer broke a sad record last month. It's now been over 400 days since the first trailer debuted, with no end in sight. Meanwhile, an analyst believes GTA VI could cost as much as $100. A research company predicts the game will sell 40 million copies and make $3 billion in its first year of availability.

GTA VI is planned to launch this coming fall.

He can F off. For years he's moaned how people want him to act like trevor for those cameos, etc, saying he was a "cartoon" character and he's in real life... Now because his acting career is washed up, he wants a bit of recognition, thinking it'll boost his career again. No thanks.

They should just open the game with him immediately getting killed. Like waving at you and crossing the street and gets hit by a bus.

I despised Trevor. He pissed me off as much as Rafi on The League. He’s one of those “too over the top to be a real person” type characters. He ruined the experience. I beat GTA V 2 or 3 times and killed him every time.

Didn't the actor have some big meltdown recently about how much he hates people just knowing him as Trevor?

Speaking of, I recently watched that newer live action The Tick show and his character in that was great, weird mix of insane, sleezy and incredibly wholesome.

@Xylymphydyte: You should also see Steven Ogg in The Walking Dead during the Negan arc as his character look like Trevor as if the character was brought into the world of The Walking Dead. Fans called him out as Trevor lol.

@davillain: Haha yeah. The only things i've seen him in since GTA is walking dead and westworld. I'm sure he's done more, but he clearly thought he was gonna be massive after GTA, and it doesn't seem to have worked out that way lol

For a Redneck, I really like Trevor's personality but my boy Franklin was the character I enjoy more so than CJ.

Gotta agree with Steven Ogg, passing the torch is never easy.

He was an unbelievably obnoxious character, I really hope they just don't have him or any characters like him in the game in any capacity
