Hacker group responsible for taking down Dota 2, LoL's US/EU/OCE servers joins community figure PhantomL0rd on his strea
After a night where some of the largest games have suffered from being taken down, hacker group 'Derp Trolling' communicates with the popular League of Legends streamer 'PhantomL0rd'.
This article was originally published on GameSpot's sister site onGamers.com, which was dedicated to esports coverage.
The conversations between the group and James 'PhatnomL0rd' Varga have been shared online and the group claim that they are performing 'a test' against the developers of said franchises. Whatever game the streamer attempted to play had their respective server shut down, and the group subsequently proved it in real-time as Varga was going to play a game of Dota 2 when a member of 'Derp Trolling' announced that if the streamer was to lose the game, they'd take down the Dota 2 network, which happened as soon as the Varga's game was going awry.
