Half-Life for Dreamcast Gets a New Version
Sierra Studios confirms that the Dreamcast version of Half-Life will come without an online multi-player mode, but a online-only version of the game will be released at a later date.
GameSpot learned today that the Dreamcast version of Half-Life, set for release on November 1, will not feature online multi-player capabilities. Sierra will instead be releasing a multi-player only version of Half-Life for Dreamcast early next year. Whether the initial release of the game will come with a split-screen multi-player mode has yet to be determined, but it will include a new one-player adventure called Blue Shift. GameSpot will have more on Half-Life for Dreamcast as it becomes available.
