Halo 2 tourney set for Dallas

Texans will be trading in their 10-gallon hats and six-shooters for overshields and battle rifles from July 6-10. GameRiot and the Cyberathlete Professional League are working together to stage a Halo 2 tournament during its summer championships. The tourney will take place in Grapevine, Texas, the same location that hosts QuakeCon. The four-on-four tourney has a total purse of $10,000. All available slots have sold out, but voyeurs can still watch the fragging by purchasing a spectator pass. For more information, check out the official Web site.
