Halo 5 Dev Pays Tribute to Fan Facing Tragedy
Spartans Never Walk Alone pack released with free update.
Halo 5: Guardians developer 343 Industries has released a new pack to pay tribute to a fan who has faced tragic loss. Community member Adam, also known as thecrzedspartan, and his wife Rebecca lost their daughters Trinity and Lena to an electrical fire in their home. To honor Adam's family and his daughters, the studio is releasing the Spartans Never Walk Alone pack for Halo 5.

The pack includes a True Light emblem named after the first initial of each of Adam's daughters' names. The emblem is the first animated emblem to be introduced to Halo 5. The pack will be rolled out to all players as part of this month's free update.
In addition, players in the new Arena map Torque will be able to see the names Trinity and Lena in the night sky if they look at the stars.
"These are but small gestures meant to honor Adam's daughters, ensuring that their memories are always close at hand within the universe he loves," the studio wrote on its site.
Halo 5's latest free update launches today, and adds a new arena map, weapons, multiplayer mode, and more. Titled Hammer Storm, the update is the fourth free content pack which has been released since the game first launched in October last year. For more information, check out our article.
