Halo: Reach London midnight launch
Microsoft held an official launch for Halo: Reach last night at London's Westfield shopping centre, and we have photos from the event.
Halo fans descended on London’s Westfield shopping centre last night to be among the first to buy a copy of Halo: Reach. People began arriving as early as 5:45 a.m. yesterday at retailer GAME’s midnight launch, with many fans dressing up to mark the occasion. Check out the images below to see how it went down.
Halo: Reach launches in the UK today with very high expectations. Halo 3 was the largest product launch in entertainment history when it was released in 2007. However, it was surpassed in 2008 by Grand Theft Auto IV and in 2009 by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, although it should be noted that these were multiplatform releases. There are no sales figures for Reach as yet, but we will see how it fares in the UK chart when the top 40 is announced on Monday.
