It's no secret that President Donald J. Trump enjoys sharing information with the world through Twitter. Recently, Trump used the social media platform to announce his upcoming sanctions against Iran in a familiar way.

HBO, which airs the epic fantasy/adventure series, wasn't too thrilled about the President's tweet. In a statement to CNBC, HBO said, "We were not aware of this messaging and would prefer our trademark not be misappropriated for political purposes."

The network used a bit of humor to diffuse the situation the same day, tweeting out "How do you say trademark misuse in Dothraki?" Cast member Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) retweeted the President adding, "not today," while Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) replied, "Ew."

Speaking of "Ew," Entertainment Weekly (EW) recently ran a cover story on the next and final season of Game of Thrones revealing the premise of Season 8 along with more information about the epic, final battle for the series. Originally, the final season was going to be released theatrically, but HBO wouldn't allow it. Season 8's official release date hasn't been announced, but it is expected to arrive in early 2019.

Additionally, the title for the Game of Thrones prequel was revealed--The Long Night--and it refers to a very specific time period, thousands of years before the events of the HBO series. Naomi Watts will star on show, and Joshua Whitehouse is reportedly joining the cast as well. The Long Night will begin filming in 2019.
