HBO spinning Indie Game: The Movie into series

At the 2012 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday, first-time filmmakers Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky debuted Indie Game: The Movie, a film chronicling the efforts of various independent game makers. Now, the movie is heading back to its origin: the living room.

Film news site Deadline reports that premium cable television network HBO has picked up the rights to Indie Game: The Movie and will create a fictional half-hour comedy series based on the film. The report also states that HBO has signed Hollywood producer Scott Rudin (No Country for Old Men, Zoolander) to produce the series.
