Helldivers 2 Preorders Are Now Live On PS5 And PC
Preorder now to receive three bonus armor sets.
The squad-based third-person shooter Helldivers II is set to launch for PS5 and PC on February 8, 2024. Like the original Helldivers, the sequel sees teams of up to three players taking on hordes of deadly aliens in missions that take you across the galaxy.
With the release date just a few months away, Arrowhead Games recently unveiled Helldivers II's $40 standard edition and $60 digital-only "Super Citizen" edition that features tons of extra content. Both versions of the game are available for preorder on PS5 and Steam and come with bonus in-game items if you purchase the game before release.

All Helldivers II preorders include three exclusive in-game armor sets:
- TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand
- TR-2 Cavalier of Democracy
- TR-52 Knight

If you aren't a Prime member, Helldivers 2 is $30 at multiple other retailers as part of PlayStation's official holiday sale, including Best Buy and Target. As of December 10, Amazon estimates the PS5 edition won't arrive until a couple days after Christmas at the earliest. So if you're picking up Helldivers 2 for PS5 as a gift, you'll want to pay the extra five bucks.
Even if you decide to go with a higher-priced copy, you should still consider signing up for one-month of Amazon Prime. To celebrate Prime Video's new anthology series about video games, Amazon is giving away even more free games than usual--a lotmore games. Prime Gaming currently has a total of 72 free games available to claim, many of which are GOG and Epic Games Store keys. You get to keep all of the games even after you cancel your membership. New subscribers can get a 30-day membership for free, but if you aren't eligible for the trial, you can subscribe to Amazon Prime for one month at $15. Essentially, you're getting a 72-game bundle for only $15.
