Here's What Game of Thrones Actors Are Saying About the Season 6 Finale
"There are very big events that are going to happen."
The end is near for Game of Thrones' sixth season. The finale airs this coming Sunday, June 26, and now, some of the show's actors have spoken up about what you can expect to see.
Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, told The Hollywood Reporter that fans should expect some surprises for the tenth and final episode of the season, called "The Winds of Winter."
"For a couple of seasons, we've built up to Episode 9," he said. "We have this huge episode nine, and then going into Episode 10, we see where we are for the season, and we start setting up the next season. It's going to be a little bit different this time. You can certainly say there are going to be some surprises in the next episode."
Episode 9 was a big hit, praised in part for the epic "Battle of the Bastards" sequence (here's how they made it). However, Cunningham said the season finale is going big as well.
"It's not a recap," he said. "There are very big events that are going to happen."
