Here's What Game of Thrones Has Planned for San Diego Comic-Con

HBO today announced its plans for next month's San Diego Comic-Con, and, unsurprisingly, the network's Game of Thrones will be there.

The Game of Thrones panel will take place in the massive Hall H, starting at 2:15 PM PDT on Friday, July 22. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenney will host the event; panelists include showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, as well as director Michael Sapochnik.

A number of cast members will also appear on the panel. These include (in alphabetical order) John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei), Isaac Hemptstead Wright (Bran Stark), Conleth Hill (Varys), Faye Marsay (The Waif), Kristian Nairn (Hodor), Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Bolton), and Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark).

There will also be an autograph session that begins at 4:15 PM PST, after the panel wraps up.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Benioff and Weiss missed last year's Comic-Con panel, while author George R.R. Martin is skipping the event again. He hasn't attended since Season 4, years ago.

Other HBO programs with panels at Comic-Con include Silicon Vallley, Vice Principals, and Outcast. The network's awesome-looking Westworld show, based on the book from Jurassic Park writer Michael Crichton, is missing from the lineup.

HBO has not yet announced a premiere date for Game of Thrones Season 7, but it's expected sometime in 2017.
