Here's When Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare Remastered's Multiplayers Will Be Shown
Debut gameplay for Infinite Warfare's multiplayer will be shown at Call of Duty XP.
Activision has announced Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's multiplayer reveal will take place on September 2 at 10AM PT/6PM BST. Footage of the mode will be shown at the Call of Duty XP event, but those not in attendance can watch it streamed on the Call of Duty Twitch channel.
Call of Duty XP is being held from September 2 to September 4 in Inglewood, California. Attendees get a chance to get hands-on time with Infinite Warfare's multiplayer and Zombies in Spaceland modes. The Call of Duty World Championship will also take place at the event and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare's remastered version will be playable there.
Activision will also show off multiplayer footage for Call of Duty 4's remastered version during Call of Duty XP event. You can watch it through the Twitch link above, and GameSpot will be at hand to deliver all the news and videos as they become available.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare releases on November 4 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The premium editions start at $80 and will include Modern Warfare Remastered. As of yet, Activision hasn't confirmed if Modern Warfare Remastered will be sold seperately.
Infinite Warfare's Zombies in Spaceland mode, meanwhile, is 80s-inspired and will feature David Hasselhoff (Baywatch) and Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman, Blow). Other confirmed celebrity guests include Seth Green (Robot Chicken, Austin Powers), Ike Barinholtz (Suicide Squad, Neighbors), and Saturday Night Live's Jay Pharoah and Sasheer Zamata. In Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, players take control of Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot who helms the Retribution, one of Earth's last remaining warships. Reyes will lead the "remnants of coalition forces against a relentless enemy." The campaign will take players across the solar system, spanning locations including Earth and beyond in a "grand scale war."
Game of Thrones star Kit Harington plays the bad guy, Admiral Salen Koch. in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. According to Harrington, the idea of playing a villain was very appealing to him.
"I'm personally a bit of a space freak, so this game being set in space is just a brilliant step for the game," he said. "What excited me about it was it was a villain. I've never played a villain before."
