Here's When The Division's Closed Multiplayer Beta Reportedly Begins

Multiplayer Beta?

What? Is there a single player mode now?

Im going to pre-order if the beta actually gives you a large portion of the game. As opposed to a small area and a level cap of like 3 or something.

When I hear beta, I automatically translate it to demo. You can bet your ass that what you play in the "beta" is the final release version.

I am ready to try it out.

I have a really bad feeling about this game. Ubisoft games tend to look something amazing, but turns out as a rehash of their past games.

I don't have high hopes for The Division...but who knows. It might just end up being something special.

Yeah, I'm not big on Ubisoft games in general, but I'm kinda with Danny on The Division.

Something about The Division seems really cool, but the fact that its Ubisoft and I will be on PC tells me it'll be hot garbage. Yes...I have both consoles but PC is where I do shooters.

Anyway, I used some spare change to buy a key, so I'll find out for myself.

whoever is doing marketing and advertising for this game really should be fired. Did you know theres a live action trailer out for this game? And there was a trailer that was pulled for no apparent reason that explained the progression and story with gameplay? Why was it pulled? They already put it out there there's no reason to hide it now. The funniest part is they don't even put these up on their youtube page thats supposed to have all this promotional material. absolutely stupid.

I hope they took the community feedback on The Dark Zone from the Alpha seriously. I like the concept of the The Dark Zone but it's very reliant on the community playing the game in the way Ubisoft has envisioned and even in the Alpha that only seemed to partially materialize. There didn't seem to be a great deal of incentive to cooperate versus just farming the first couple of blocks around the entrance with some friends for players who had loot they were heading to extract.... Problem being that only works so long as people figure The Dark Zone is worth it, once people realize that more valuable gear is worthless, because you'll never be able to extract it, the whole concept breaks down.

Perhaps tougher AI or rewards for helping players extract would help re-balance the incentive to undertake certain actions.

Rather play a single player demo.

Can't wait this will probably be first purchase of 2016.

Is it bad of me to have very little hopes that this will be anything more than a repetitive slog like the rest of Ubisoft games lately?

thankfully i was in the alpha & like Siege Beta all i have to do to play the closed beta is redownload the alpha & it will count as my closed beta entry

The alpha was super limited in that only a very small portion was available to us.

I thought that they changed it to an open beta after the delay, and it was only the alpha that was closed.

Either way, I played the alpha, I loved it, definitely buying the game day 1.

You can just get the beta key for a buck from some keysite

Getting my hands and playing the closed-beta will make or break my decision to buy this game. Been waiting on this game since its announcement a couple years ago, don't got my hopes up that high since ubisoft...but I'm willing to give it a chance and hopefully it excels!

My friends and I are so ready.

EDIT: There's a new story trailer up by the way. Not sure of GS has posted that yet, but it's up on youtube. One new detail I caught? K9 units are in the game in some sort of capacity!
