Here's When You Can Play Homefront: The Revolution
There's also a day-one patch that improves the frame rate.
If you've been waiting to play Homefront: The Revolution, then you don't have to wait much longer: console players can start playing later today, while those planning to play the game on PC will have to wait until tomorrow, May 17, to jump in.
All players can preload now, though those on PS4 and Xbox One have to wait until 9 PM PT to start playing. Players who buy the game on Steam have to wait until 10 AM PT tomorrow.
Additionally, console owners will be hit with a day-one patch that "includes a range of performance and frame rate improvements." No further details were given, and the patch has not been announced for PC. We've contacted Deep Silver for more information and will update this article as we lean more.
If you're interested in preordering the game, there's still time. You can check out each retailer's preorder bonuses right here.
GameSpot talked to Homefront producer David Stenton last month about whether the game is in bad taste and why North Korea is the bad guy again. You can read the full interview here.
