Heroes of Might and Magic V gets limited
DVD edition of game to include full versions of Heroes of Might and Magic III and IV, soundtrack, extra in-game content.
For some people, the regular retail edition of the PC turn-based strategy game Heroes of Might and Magic V just won't be heroic, mighty, or magical enough. It is for them that Ubisoft today unveiled plans for a limited-edition package to launch alongside the standard game next month.
The limited edition of the game will cost $59.99 ($10 more than the standard package), but it will include a number of extras. In addition to a copy of the game on DVD, the limited edition will come with full versions of the last two installments in the series, Heroes of Might and Magic III and IV, an official soundtrack, artwork, illustrations, and some new in-game content, including three single scenario maps and a unique hero.
The limited edition will be available from Best Buy, CompUSA, EB Games, and GameStop stores, as well as through Ubisoft's Web site, Ubi.com. Heroes of Might and Magic V has not yet been rated.
