High-Res Final Fantasy IX Screens
TOKYO – Although the game was mostly absent from the main TGS floor, we got our hands on new FFIX screenshots.
TOKYO – One of this year's greatest Tokyo Game Show disappointments was the essential no-show that was Square's Final Fantasy IX for the PlayStation. Considering that the title will arrive in Japan in June, we thought the appearance of a playable version of the game was a sure thing. This, however, wasn't the case, as Square only displayed the game by way of a main stage video presentation. And only occasionally, at that.
In any case, Square offered us some great looking screenshots of the game, so we at least have these to show you now. Although you may have seen some of these screens in our previous coverage, these are high-res and look much better. Fans of Final Fantasy owe it to themselves to check out these new shots.
