@cornbredx: The one thing The Weinstein Company had going for it, and especially Harvey Weinstein is that both were willing to take risks. I not certain of this, but I think that The Lord of the Rings would have only been a two film series, until he came on board and said 'there's three books, we should make three films'. With him now gone, will they continue to take risks? Who knows, hopefully.

Just to make it clear this is in no way a defence of his actions, I'm glad he was fired, and that it was a short and sweet firing, so as not to give him the chance to resign and look like he took the higher ground. Now we can only hope to soon hear of the firing of Andy Signore. EDIT: Seems Screen Junkies/DEFY have now terminated his employment too. Seems a bit strange that it took them until it became public to finally act.

@straightcur: From the stories i have read or heard, he does normal guy stuff to a point, and is pleasant. When he gets shot down, he just goes for broke and jacks off in front of the woman. Or he asks dumb questions like "do you want to watch me take a shower?", which he allegedly asked Ashley Judd. Why would she want to watch that? Was he going to do a Chris Farley routine and make it funny? LOL

If he was a good or even decent looking guy with all that money, clout, and success, chances are he never gets to the desperation stage. He should have cut his loses -- instead, he's booted from his own company.
