Microsoft kicked off their E3 2016 press conference with a one-two punch. First was the announcement of the Xbox Play Anywhere cross play, where future Xbox One releases will be playable on Windows 10.
Then it announced Gears of War 4 will be available for PC and included in the program. Along with the usual campaign and adversarial multiplayer, The Coalition studio head Rod Fergusson also confirmed the latest version of the series' wave-based co-op mode, Horde 3.0.
