Hot Wheels Mechanix ships

Today THQ announced that its latest racing game, Hot Wheels Mechanix, has shipped to stores. The game is the first racing game based on the Hot Wheels toy car series to let players modify their vehicles before each race. It features a variety of car upgrades, including big tires, more powerful engines, turbo chargers, wings, and custom paint jobs. The game includes more than 18 vehicles and seven unique 3D racetracks. Hot Wheels Mechanix will soon be available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.95.
