Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has arrived, bringing fresh multiplayer and zombies modes. BO6 also has a full campaign, which sees you take on espionage, heists, and trippy sci-fi sequences throughout its action-packed missions. Like previous Call of Duty games, Black Ops 6's campaign isn't particularly long, but Treyarch and Activision have made good use of its short run time.

How long to beat the Black Ops 6 campaign?

Beating Black Ops 6's campaign will take somewhere between 5 to 6 hours, depending on how much time you spend in the game's wider, more open-ended missions and how many side objectives you tackle. That's on normal difficulty, with a veteran playthrough likely taking a bit longer, depending on your skill level.

There are a total of 11 missions in the Black Ops 6 campaign, some of which are broken up into multiple parts. You will also regularly return to The Rook in between missions, which is your safehouse where you can buy upgrades and solve puzzles like the locked safe code.

Black Ops 6 mission list:

  • Bishop Takes Rook
  • Blood Feud
  • Most Wanted
  • Hunting Season
  • The Cradle
  • Emergence
  • High Rollers
  • Ground Control
  • Under the Radar
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Checkmate

Unlike some previous Black Ops campaigns, BO6 does not have multiple endings, instead opting for a linear narrative experience. It does feature some of the "open-world" mission design from recent Call of Duty releases and has a decent amount of stealth as well, to fit with the covert narrative.
