How to Download Pokemon Go Early
Android users can get the augmented reality Pokemon-catching game here.
Pokemon Go, the augmented reality game that allows players to capture Pokemon using their smartphones, has launched in a number of locations including Australia and New Zealand. As of yet, it isn't available Android application store in the UK, but there's still a way to download it and start playing.
To do this, simply download the Pokemon Go APK by clicking here while on your Android device. You'll need to make sure you've allowed installations from unknown sources in the settings. With that done, you're good to go!
If you're in North America, you can download and play it from the Google Play store at this link.
Pokemon Go is free but contains microtransactions. If you want to catch Pokemon without unlocking your phone, you'll have to buy this $35 optional accessory when it is available. The watch-like device vibrates when a Pokemon is nearby, at which point you can press a button to catch the creature.
If you're planning on playing Pokemon Go, it would be a good idea to check out GameSpot's article on essential facts you'll need to know before jumping in. It covers where to find Pokemon, how to hatch eggs and evolve, and the in-game Pokemon Gyms.
