After confirming Paul George as the cover star for NBA 2K17, 2K Sports has now announced it's bringing back the "Early Tip-Off Weekend" promotion. This lets you to play NBA 2K17 a full four days early--but only if you preorder.

NBA 2K17 launches for everyone on September 20, but people who preorder the game not only get their copy four days early, but also an assortment of digital content. This includes 5,000 in virtual currency, a MyTeam Bundle that comes with three packs (with a guaranteed Paul George card), and other items to be announced in the future.

2K Sports also announced today that there will be a "Gold" edition of the NBA 2K17 Kobe Bryant Legend Edition. This super-premium version costs $100 (the regular one goes for $80) and comes with everything in the Legend Edition, as well as the following items:

70,000 additional Virtual Currency (100,000 total)
Two Additional MyTeam packs (with guaranteed MJ Free Agent card)
Nike Kobe shoe collection
Special Kobe lenticular cover insert.

2K Sports has not yet released any images or videos for NBA 2K17. We'll report back with more details on the professional basketball games as they're made available.

i have supported 2k since 11 buying multiple copies on ps3/360 because the 360 games where superior so i played them for single player the ps3 for free multiplayer.....this company is so greedy with the myteam stuff i cannot support them anymore....they want you to have to buy vc so the myteam gamemode is beyond a grind.....they give out doo doo players in the packs they sell and give next to nothing in game payouts...their greed has turned me against them and i will do all i can to not buy 2k17 even though i love bball games they are the new EA

Man $100 for a game and the regular one is $80? No $60-$50 option? Some of us have children to feed and bills to pay but on top of that we want to spend our free time playing some games but the prices is getting insane.
