How to Play the Need for Speed Reboot Five Days Early
Not much longer to wait.
After some time away, EA's Need for Speed franchise returns next week. But you don't have to wait until November 3 to play the latest entry in the racing series, provided you're an Xbox One owner.
EA on Monday announced that Need for Speed will be playable on Xbox One through EA Access starting Thursday, October 29. According to a tweet from EA Access, the trial will last for 10 hours.
EA Access memberships are available for $5/month or $30/year. In addition to early play for upcoming games, members have access to a continually growing library of free games and can save 10 percent on all EA digital content. There is no word yet if it will come to PlayStation 4.
Need for Speed, which developer Ghost Games is calling a "full reboot," is also coming to PS4 on November 3. The PC edition, however, was delayed to 2016. The console versions recently went gold, though Ghost Games continues to work on the title's upcoming free content updates.
