How to Sign Up for Mass Effect: Andromeda's Multiplayer Beta

The survey for Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer beta is very, very long.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will have a multiplayer beta, producer Fabrice Condominas confirmed in a tweet. You can sign up for it right now on developer BioWare's website, though you might want to put some time aside: the survey could take you a while to fill out.

To sign up for the beta, you'll need to have an EA account and link it to your Origin, PSN, or Xbox Live accounts. Next, you'll need to answer a bunch of questions about your gaming tendencies, spoken languages, and favourite games. When you finally get to the end, you'll have to check a white box next to the words, "Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Tech Test" (seen below). This will bring you to a final assortment of questions before letting you submit your application.

No release date has been announced for the beta, but the survey did give us the selection of either PS4 or Xbox One when asked where we wanted to play the tech test. We will keep you updated as more information about the multiplayer beta is revealed.

As part of N7 Day, much was revealed about the upcoming Mass Effect game. BioWare released a new cinematic trailer that gave us a look at the protagonist and an antagonist. We also learned that loyalty missions are returning, in addition to exactly when the game is set in the Mass Effect timeline.

Mass Effect: Andromeda still doesn't have an exact release date, but it's expected to launch sometime in spring 2017. However, EA said in a recent earnings call that it would delay it if the game needed extra time. It is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

I hope they keep the multiplayer pretty much the same but just... better. Easily the most fun I've ever had with any sort of multiplayer game since Halo 2

ME should've stayed exclusive to MS platforms. Look how Titanfall got ruined by being dumbed down for sony on the second iteration.

I'll sign up so I'll know what to expect from Andromeda's MP since I love Mass Effect 3's MP.

A part of me wants to check out the beta but I'd rather wait til the game is done and perhaps play a demo like I did with ME3.....

@darthrevenx: a beta is a demo these days. They come out so close to release that their isn't much time left for them to do anything, so no reason to not check out the beta. Aside from the survey time, though this exaggerated how long it takes imo
