Hyper Scape's New Content Includes More Challenges And A Big Mystery
New activities, daily challenges, and Project Tower await players in Ubisoft's sci-fi battle royale game.
Hyper Scape hasn't been a smash hit on the Twitch charts, where it sought to make a name for itself with its blend of sci-fi and battle royale action, but developer Ubisoft still has plans to grow its young game in the weeks and months to come. A fresh patch rebalanced several weapons, adjusted controller aiming, and added other new features this week, with more fine-tuning scheduled for the rest of September.
New memory shards will arrive every week, along with refreshed daily and weekly challenges. Hack Runner is getting an updated limited-time mode, a new Reddit Ask Me Anything session will be held soon, and the mysterious Project Tower will be unveiled towards the end of the mid-season roadmap. Hyper Scape is still struggling to attract a larger dedicated audience on Twitch, a streaming platform that the game was designed to take advantage of with its interactive elements that make viewing matches a more exciting spectator sport. Compared to established games like PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Apex Legends, Hyper Scape's numbers don't come close to matching the healthy views that those games get from a subscriber base that numbers in the millions.
