I Am Alive PC release moved forward

these days developers think they can treat pc gamers any how , gone are the days when consoles were not around and most games used to be pc exclusives

Wow! I have played it on the PS store or should I say the demo, and I liked it... but now on PC? I am going to get it....now!

I loved this game.

They are adding Easy Mode and Replay to the PC version...so, that's something.

This will be $3 or $4 on the next Steam sale...I'll just wait 'till then.

Didn't they say they weren't going to release it on PC? I remember people asking this and they said the console offered a better experience and they would not port it. Guess they changed there mind.

Well if anyone is wondering if it's worth $15, i can safely say yes it is.

It feels like a very interesting old school pc game if you ask me.

Controls were not as bad either, considering how it is still a console port.

I would not pay more than $15 though, but thats just me.

I can't believe at first they went on about the piracy rate being so high on PCs and then saying this game won't come out on the PC platform at all due to that very reason. Now you're trying to sell it because it's already out in the torrent world?? Please...go f**k yourself! EVERYONE is going to pirate your games from now on. PC, Xbox, PS3, Mobile...every platform, every game!

Wow. PC Gamers are fickle. Are you really going to cheat yourself out of a good experience because someone made a generalization? Ubisoft isn't going to be hurt by you not spending $15. I understand you might feel offended, although I'm primarily a PC gamer and didn't get offended because there is a ridiculous amount of piracy on the PC, but some of you are acting like Ubisoft killed your puppy.

The game is really good. It's only $15 because it's only 4-6 hours long.

I think know why they are moving it.

Because there is already a pirated copy out.

You can bet this is because the game leaked a few days ago and they want to try and save face

that is probably because they were able to put aside the DRM making. :P apparently it is pretty average though, not exactly my most hyped game.

Well...at least Ubi is trying to win back PC consumers.

I saw this game for download on some pirate sites about 4 days ago !!! what's going on then ?!!!

The game is good but easy to get bored. The graphic is so ugly but the gameplay saved it.

Looking forward to this game. Will probably pick it up at the first good sale.

they've got a long way to go before they can make up for past actions towards PC users. i'll wait and see how this plays out, but they're definitely not getting my money for at least another week, if at all.

That why I love pirates:

1) They make games available earlier than publishers

2) They cut the hell out the draconian DRM that obstructs gameplay

3) They don't force you to pay if the game is crap

If there was a way to pay them for the games I liked - I would do so.

Ubisoft is release the PC version of any game ... earlier. That's something new, maybe they notice that you can "download" pirate version of I Am Alive from couple of days now.

The game runs fine and looks slick so far. Ubisoft seems to be coming to terms.

The game ran fine for me even on my secondary rig which has a core2duo e8200, 2gb ram and an nvidia 9800gtx i also don't like the way Ubisoft had been treating PC folks but i did not found any problem, Ghost Recon Future Soldier on the other hand was a total disaster.

I can assure you that the PC version can lag on an uber gaming rig even with MSAA and AA turned way down. This is on the same rig that can pay any game with maxed out video settings and never drops below 30 fps. Even with the video settings maxed out, this game looks like an old 360 game before developers knew how to optimize code for the consoles.

Though the game is difficult and fairly fun to play; it utilizes some interesting concepts and makes them work well together. Personally, I’ll take a somewhat unique and enjoyable gaming experience over graphics any day.

Though Ubisoft’s comment about 95% of PC gamers being pirates really pissed me off, and then to announce this game on PC the very next day was really ironic, or ballsy. Or possibly stupid.
