Today, Team Dignitas announced that Michael "imaqtpie" Santana, popular streamer, AD carry and last original member of the Rock Solid lineup, would be departing from the team. The official statement revealed that imaqtpie left because "he now wishes to pursue other opportunities."
Imaqtpie has been a long-standing member of the Team Dignitas organization since September of 2011 when the organization acquired Rock Solid. With imaqtpie's departure, the team loses one of its original members and strongest streaming personalities. He has gained acclaim for entertaining an audience, founding the "Dongsquad" and playing Heimerdinger in Challenger pre-rework. With his large following, it is likely he will continue streaming, though his future plans are unclear.
Team Dignitas has not made any comments regarding who will replace Zionspartan and imaqtpie for the new season.
