Indiana Jones And The Great Circle Is Getting Some Impressive PS5 Pro Enhancements
A native 4K resolution on PS5 Pro and DualSense intergration could make the recent Indiana Jones game look and feel great on PlayStation hardware.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is whipping its way onto PS5 on April 17--or April 15 as an early access bonus for Premium and Collector's Edition preorders--and several of the new features for the game on Sony's platform have been revealed. That includes the PS5 Pro features that will distinguish it from other console versions, including Xbox.
Starting in the controller department, the DualSense's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers have been tied to several parts of the game, including combat, exploration, and using Indy's tools. Bethesda added (via the PS Blog) that the controller's lightbar is connected to game actions, with some examples being the LED light pulsing yellow if NPCs are searching for you or red if your health is low.
On the performance side, Bethesda explained that the game will benefit from numerous technical features, like frictionless loading, selective installation, and SSD optimization on PS5 and PS5 Pro. The game targets a stable 60fps on PS5 consoles, and if you find yourself stumped by any of the puzzles, you can consult the Community Game Help hub for tips on how to progress through certain sections.

On PS5 Pro, the game will also have some impressive visual enhancements like a native 4K resolution and advanced ray tracing. Bethesda says that MachineGames worked to ensure that this version of Indiana Jones was optimized for PS5 Pro and that it was capable of delivering higher and more consistent frame rates.
First released on PC and Xbox Series X|S in December 2024, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was one of Xbox Game Studios' biggest releases last year. The game scooped numerous awards at shows like the 2025 Dice Awards and the New York Game Awards 2025, and it was one of GameSpot's top ten games of the year.
"Indiana Jones and The Great Circle takes an unexpectedly stealthy and freeform approach, making for a faithful, rip-roaring adventure in which you truly embody the famous archeologist," Richard Wakeling wrote in GameSpot's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle review.
