Infamous 2 arrives June 7

Btw, LoganWesker, if you are referring Ezio as a fool in the hood, you better watch out. Because there are a lot Ezio fans that won't be happy about that comment.

I dont get it, the first one was awful. No depth, too easy, stock world and story. Not even average.

infamous was really addictive. i generally keep 4-5 games pile and pick up whichever feel like. (oblivion and gta 4 are in it since ages). only few games i complete from start to finish without touching other games in between. it was one of them along with assassins creed 2 and bioware games that are open world titles that take 30 hrs or so to finish.

Well laying it off after an hour is maybe abit too rushy, but it wasn't nearly as good as the hype, it wasn't original, the city was kinda dull to look at, and the enemies were all the same just reskinned for each area - BUT it had pretty fun boss fights, and the story was pretty good, nothing too special, but it was original - the sequel seems like a good upgrade though, but i don't know yet, gonna have to see some more gameplay videos and peoples opinions

@plaintomato... It's a shame you gave it up after only an hour. It's a really great game, and one of the reasons to own a PS3. This is going to be an expensive year. I need to figure out how to pre-apologize to the wife for spending all that money. Battlefield 3, Killzone 3, inFAMOUS 2, Mass Effect 2, MLB The Show 11, Jungle Green DS3, etc.

I never found out if the first game lived up to the hype. I tried it, but I had enough of the tween baditude by the time I was an hour in. I just can't stomach the prepubescent tough guy crap. Funny how after all these years, still there isn't a truely great sandbox game that hasn't come from Rockstar, unless you count RPGs. Well, I guess there was Saints Row...at least the stupidity was tongue in cheek in that case.

@ AnimeKen15 @ Ex-DarkBlade I agree with Ken's stance..I don't mean to be a hater I just got frustrated that you basically run around and fight constantly respawning enemies with pointless missions..it felt like Borderlands and I know everyone loves that game but I thought it was terrible as well. As far as 'sandbox' games go this one just didn't measure up, certainly not to all the hype it's getting. Cole McGrath? Lame. Almost as lame as that fool in the hood in Assassin's Creed. To each his own of course. Im not tryin to be a meanie..just my opinion.

@Logan Wesker Infamous's plot was dry. The missions were just fighting off dozens of reapers, dustmen, or first sons. That is fun?? The story was weak it had so much potential being an original superhero game. But it didn't live out to be so good. The storyline starts that out you must find John then it turns into defeating Kessler. IN the game i had to do more than 20 pointless missions then to find John and have him die in three more missions. NO stability at all the whole storyline is wobbly.

First game was amazing but I wish they would tell the story more heavily, it was good comic style but it looked like to me that they were afraid to bore people... Infamous' story and twists are far better than many of the recent games.

I have only briefly played the demo for the first, but I know this game will be a hit.

Why am I not interested in this game...

Got to love sucker punch. Anyways I hope after they release this they go right back to work and get Sly 4 ready :D.

@Ex-DarkBlade The one thing that weakened Infamous for me was the lack of variety, most missions where based in pretty much the same thing, with very few exceptions. Having said that, I'm really looking forwards to infamous 2, hopefully we get a much better game this time around.

I will buy the game of course but not the CE i just want the game please.

i personally thought the 1st was one of the ps3's weakest exclusives. HOWEVER, it has major potential and i hope they live up to it this time round. better graphics, less cliche voice acting & characters, and make the missions less repetitive and this game will be a win.

@AnimeKen15 @LoganWesker How can Infamous be bad? It had a great storyline, great gameplay, and etc. What makes infamous bad?

Really looking forward to this, the first one was amazing. Might actually play it again, I have yet to play the campaign as a good guy....

this one looks great, but considering all the exclusives coming out this year + mass effect and la. noire, I think that sadly, I'm going to have to pass

I like how they went back to Coles original style. I was disappointed when I saw that they changed Cole from a gruff SOB into this lame caring prettyboy. When I want to play games, I want to be an intimidating neutralist, don't care if dumb people live or die, but I won't go on rampages either. The Cole they showed at E3 would defeat the purpose of the "murder for peace" strategy of play. This is why I am happy they changed him back into a "I barely care" person again.

@AnimeKen15: Just like how CoD, Halo et al suck yet make it to top selling lists all the time. In other words, your opinion [or mine in case of CoD and Halo] doesn't influence sales [thankfully]. inFamous had its flaws [graphics, mostly]... but was loads of fun.
