Infamous 2 vampire DLC dropping this October

Do i still get to use the powers i unlock from Infamous 2?

I didn't get inFamous 2 (too poor) but I might get the DLC because it looks awesome. :D

@MamaLuigiBarrel Other than True Blood, try watching Vampire Diaries for what happens when Twilight is made by people who are actually good and sane. And watch Let The Right One In and Let Me In (both based on the same book). And the new Fright Night is coming up, if you want to see Collin Farrel fighting Doctor Who #10.

No thanks. Sucker Punch seems to have painted itself into a corner plot-wise for the endings (no spoilers here), and so they release an add-on with a theme that's culturally relevant rather than plot-related. Surprised? Nope. Disappointed? Yes. I expected better of them. I won't be buying it. Good luck trying to explain the continuity between InFamous 2 and InFamous 3, by the way.

Man, 51 years of my life gone. Hey at least its not zombies. Vampires sounds way cooler here.

Depends on the price and value in terms of length and story, but I'm intrigued.

This is actually kind of cool. Its a neat idea to take the license and put creative spin on it while having a bit of fun. It worked for Undead Nightmare. Even better that it's standalone, which is just awesome.

Cool, anything Infamous 2 is a must have in my books :P I wonder when they're going to release some more content packs for the mission editor though, I'm dying to pit some monsters against a few choppers.

@ RedHawk4 The fact that it isn't just an expansion pack shows that they want more people to try it, then go and buy the other full games. It's like paying for a super-sized demo. It may not be a FULL game, but it will give some sort of accomplishment when you finish. I only rented Dead Rising 2, but I bought the prologue and the epilogue for it. Capcom got to make a little extra money from someone who didn't want to buy the whole game, AND from people that bought the original DR2. If both of those had just been expansions, they never would have seen a dime from people like me.

The fact that this is a stand-alone DLC might atract a few new players to the series, but I doubt it will be many at all. It might have been a better move to simply make it an expansion pack.
