Insomniac's Spider-Man PS4 Dev Team Is "Huge"

I keep throwing money at the screen but nothing is happening :(

Even though I'm not a Spider Man fan, this interests me. Insomniac has a very good reputation, and love the Ratchet and Clank games, so this'll probably turn out well. Let's just hope it's not a lazy-side-project. Like Platinums TMNT game. Insomniac has made some underwhelming games in the past. Let's just hope this isn't one of them.

Now if only Guerrilla pulls off Horizon, with their bad reputation.

System seller! Spidey is very popular and Sony were smart to make a deal with WD/Marvel and make it exclusive coz I would've bought a PS4 for this game if I didn't already own one. This is the Spiderman game gamers have been dying for and with Insomniacs and Marvel working on it HYPE!!!

Seeing as it's Insomniac, I have faith that they'll make this game good and fun to play.

I hope they mix the web mechanics from Spider-Man 2 for PS2 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for PS4.

In SM2, you had to actually connect your web to a building, and the physics reflected it.
In tASM2 you had to use the left and right triggers for his left/right hands respectively.

Both of these together would make web slinging a little bit more of a mental exercise which would be... "Amazing".

I like everything Insomniac's done that I've played, but we know they're just exaggerating how big their dev team is online. When you see it in person, always much smaller.

ps4 gamers have it really good. another great exclusive incoming. no doubt this will be the best Spiderman game ever seen.

@indigoj: Well Sony is publishing it, It's now there games, so don't think they're exactly losing out.

@indigoj: If Microsoft owned the film rights to Fantastic Four or Xmen, then it's safe to say any first-party console manufacturer would do the same. I'm not saying it's right, but currently tens of millions of people own a PS4, so I highly doubt they're cutting out too much of their potential audience.

@indigoj: it's a special deal due to sony allowing Spiderman to be used in civil war. that's how the cookie crumbles when you own the rights to a franchise. Microsoft would have done the same.

Make so you can only web to objects ( not the sky ) and i'll buy it.

Can't believe this is going to be an exclusive, not that I mind being a PS4 owner, but there is a huge market for superheroes just seems odd. Maybe Sony will get a few extra console sales with it but Insomniac would make a tonne more it being multiplat.
