It's the first of March, Carnival is in full effect in the streets of Rio de Janeiro, but also in Cologne! We talk to Adrian "Kerp" Wetekam after he went to get something to eat and met a few people. He ensures me that he will answer true and fair so we get the interview straight on its way!

So, season 4, Millenium, how's it going with the organisation? You parted with Alternate and made the transition to the French powerhouse. How did that go?

It is overall working really smooth with Millenium, they let us do what we want and they aren't really influencing a lot when they want to do something with us. There was a camera guy following us around at one of the first weeks of LCS and I didn't even realize he was there for most of the time. It feels good to be playing for them.

Recently Darko "Dreamz" Bozovic joined the management staff, how are things going with him? He seems to be more of a fitness coach, was that something you guys needed?

We were overall not happy with our performance and the mood kept going down every week so we took Dreamz in to motivate us, he is a great person and helps us a lot.

Does he also help out with strategies and game play? Or is he just there for your personal state and mindset?

He has little to say in strategies and game play, bu he watches a lot of our scrims, standing behind us and then randomly asking Jree: "When is drake" or saying: "You got a kill what can you get out of it?". His main objective is to motivate us before our games. He also takes care of the stuff in the house like cooking for example, if he's there.

Now back to you, you transitioned from top to mid, how did that go for you?

I didn't have much trouble adjusting to midlane because I have been playing mid a lot in solo queue the past season, and I also played as a mid-laner with my friends in small cups. I played against a lot of, now professional, teams in season 1 team-ranked as well.

Who is the better toplaner, you or Kev1n? You both played against and beside him now.

I don't think that Kev1n is a better top than me, but I also don't think that I am better than him. We both have our own playstyle and can play it well. He is very consistent on top and doesn't really lose out any one versus one on lane, unless a match-up is really against his favor.

Which lane do you like most and why?

I prefer mid since I can play a lot more aggressive champions, on toplane you are pretty much forced to play fulltanks or 1 damage item bruisers (jax being an exception), AP carries top do work but take more effort to play. Also it's easier to roam from mid to top or bot or their jungle and have more impact like that.

Who are your favorite champions at the moment? Who would be your all time favorite champion, disregarding if he fits the meta or not?

My favorite champions for mid lane are Leblanc and Fizz, I enjoy playing Ziggs and Gragas as well. My overall favorite mid is Heimerdinger! Since his rework, his megaturret is the best baiting tool in the entire game.

What's the story with you and the trackball mouse? When did you pick it up?

I started using it after my previous mouse broke, I didn't feel like buying a new one so I just grabbed a random mouse at home and started using it. After a while it got comfortable and I got used to it. The only reason why I keep on using it is because my arm feels a lot more tired after multiple hours, if I use a normal mouse and I don't have any disadvantage ingame using it.

What do you do outside of the LCS to relax? Play any other games, watch other sports, music you like or shows you like to watch?

To relax I play all kind of other random games. I started playing a bit of CS:GO lately with Jree, Creaton and Kev1n. In general I also like to watch nonsense comedy shows like Little Britain or anime series.

Thank you for the interview and good luck in the LCS super week that's coming up, any words you want to close with?

Shoutout to everyone who supports me, my sponsors, my team and Millenium!
