It: Chapter 2 Trailer Releases Soon, See A Chilling New Poster Now [Update]

A new trailer for It: Chapter Two will be released on July 18 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET, and ahead of that, a chilling new poster for the movie has arrived. [Update: The new It: Chapter Two trailer is here, and we have a full breakdown of everything in it. Before it debuted online, the Scarediego event at Comic-Con brought with it some exclusive clips that have not yet been shared outside of the event, so be sure to check out our rundown on what we saw for even more on the new movie.]

It depicts the glowing, yellow eyes of Pennywise the Clown, and it's pretty creepy. The tagline for the film appears to be "It Ends," which seems to be a reference to how the grown-up members of The Losers' Club who reunite 27 years after the events of the 2017 film to fight the clown again.

Now Playing: IT Chapter Two Panel Reactions - What We Saw At SDCC 2019

It: Chapter Two stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone as the grown-up versions of the kids from the first movie. Bill Skarsgard returns as Pennywise, while the kids from the first movie including Jaeden Martell, Wyatt Oleff, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, and Jack Dylan Grazer.

The first movie's director, Andy Muschietti, is returning to direct the sequel as well. The movie comes to theatres in September. The first trailer was released back in May, and it depicted a tense scene between Jessica Chastain's character, Beverly, and Pennywise in a different form.
