Let's float again.
The 2017 Stephen King adaptation It was not only one of the year's biggest box office hits--it's one of the most successful horror movies of all time. It: Chapter 2 releases in September, and ahead of that, the first movie is set to return to theaters.
Ticketing company Fandango revealed that the first film will screen across the US for two nights, on Sunday, August 4 and Tuesday, August 6. It's not been revealed what the new footage contains, but it could be some of the scenes shown last month at San Diego Comic-Con. As well as screening the new It: Chapter 2 trailer, fans were shown three new scenes, including a scary encounter with the evil clown Pennywise in a hall of mirrors.
The epic running time of It: Chapter 2 was also revealed this week. According to director Andy Muschietti, it will run for a whopping 2 hours and 45 minutes, which is a full 30 minutes longer than its predecessor.
It: Chapter 2 stars James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader as Richie, James Ransone as Eddie, Andy Bean as Stan, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike. Bill Skarsgård also returns as Pennywise. Check out GameSpot's breakdown of the latest trailer here. It: Chapter 2 releases on September 9.
