"We have been monitoring the behavior of the suspended players over the course of the year to determine whether they should be LCS eligible in 2014," said Allen. "We are pleased to announce two players ... have demonstrated significant reforms in their behavior and will be eligible to play in the 2014 LCS Season."
The two reformed players are Christian 'IWillDominate' Rivera and Ilyas 'ShookL2' Hartsema. Both players were handed one-year bans from the LCS due to toxic behavior in January of this year, and their accounts were suspended.
Rivera continued to compete in other events until July when he decided to take a break. In October it was announced that Rivera would replace veteran Brandon 'Saintvicious' DiMarco for Team Curse, and has been playing competitively in the North American Challenger League as their new jungler.
Rivera posted a brief tweet about the decision.
Happy to say that I'm officially unbanned for S4.

Hartsema was playing outside the LCS with the Copenhagen Wolves from June to September, participating in many tournaments and events. He is no longer listed on the Wolves' roster.
Simon 'Rayt3ch' Näslund (now under the name El Muppo) and Damien 'Linak' Lorthios have not shown the same improvement. Similar to Rivera and Hartsema, both players had their accounts banned in January for toxic behavior, and were not allowed to play in the EU LCS. Allen says the players were monitored, but the required improvement was not seen.
"Näslund was expected to thoroughly uphold the Summoner’s Code, and be a model citizen in and out of game," Allen said. "However, through investigation into his account, we have discovered that his behavior has not improved during his period of ineligibility."
Lorthios was found to have a similar ruling after playing "regularly on at least five accounts, all of which have multiple Tribunal punishments." Two of those accounts were perma-banned.
The bans for Lorthios and Näslund continue, and they are not eligible to compete in the 2014 LCS season.
