Jak and Daxter exploring Lost Frontier

i think its coming out...tomorrow... cant wait :O....and i also wanna play kh bbs :( gonna come in around 3 months time when the *** version releases.

I can't wait. I know and Love the Jak & Daxter Series,and I've had to give up on many of my favorite series becuase it was on PS3, or Xbox 360, so it's really a pleasant suprise that it's going to be on the PS2. Hope it's a good one.

What i don't seem to understand is how the creators jak and daxter haven't thought of bringing out a jak and daxter for the ps3 but yet they bring one to the psp. Don't get me wrong keep the jak@daxter series on the psp and plastation 2 but bring the game to a next gen console which would be the ps3. They have been having this back and forth head to head battle or friendly competition between ratchet and clank.The creators of Ratchet@clank have done the smart thing and gone next gen, Why not naughty dog. They have the upgraded the hardware and ability of systems then why not use it. Give jak@daxter a refreshment in the graphics and gameplay department since the opportunity is there.If you have it flaunt.This way you have a chance of bringing in new fans and keeping old ones. I'm sure i'm not the only one tired of seeing the same graphics in jak and daxter. Since there is the power of the ps3, naughty dog use it and make an already awesome game go to the next level of next generation gaming.

there will be a ps3 game, eventually, like around 2011 - 2012 but this will do for now..

i hope naughty dog or some1 with jak and daxter experience picks it back up if this game goes horribly wrong i dont want the series to die

they haven't made the game in a long time

The suspense is killing me! The trailer is not enough! Agh, I need this game now! Well, every day that goes by is another day closer to the release of the new Jak!

its sounds cool. but im afraid tht mybe this is a game more for the psp than the ps2...like with size matters for the psp, its also for the ps2...but its mainly made for the psp, and i hope this more directly for the ps2 and an addition the psp not vice versa

this game is gonna remind people why jak and daxter are still the best! but the only thing thats gonna bug me is all the movies cuz they changed jak's voice

HELL YA! I have to admit that it's odd that Jak and Daxter aren't on the PS3, but I'm glad because I don't have one. It sucks that Naughty Dog isn't developing this game, since they game the duo their name, and I hope the original voice actors will be in The Lost Frontier. I'm sure this game will still rock.

Crash and Spyro would have been dead if Universal didn't own the rights to the games, so be glad Sony is letting new sequels come out to Jak and Ratchet without the rights being owned by someone else.

Oh cool! Jak has what appears to be a Civil War outfit...

this game's gonna suck cuz it isn't being made by naughty dog. Just like the CRASH series started sucking when N.D. jumped ship to the Jak series. Hopefully the UNCHARTED series doesn't go this route 10 years from now

But why on ps2? I was looking forward to a ps3 version. As my standards have risen with the release of the ps3, I think my eyes may bleed when I play a dated ps2 game. But I loved Jak 2-Jak X, and hopefully this won't ruin it.

I really hope all of the original voice actors return for this, and that the core gameplay remains the same. Oh, and HIG.. please don't ruin the story.

i wonder how the aircraft will be controlled and if there will be weapon cutomization???

PS2 is still a good system, not to be ignored. They probably released this on ps2 to keep the system alive and of some interest. PS3 has a lot other games to be bothered with. This game series belongs on psp and ps2.

I think they're developing for psp then they will port to ps2 similar to ratchet and clank Size matters hence why it isnt for ps3.

Thats really stupid why would they make it for just PS2 and PSP!!! They should also have it for PS3. Jak II was the best one btw.

I'm sooooooooo excited! This is awesome. I'm so glad they're making it for the PS2! Hopefully it'll live up to Jak 2 and 3.

It's nice to see someone making a game for the ps2 OTHER than anime RPGs or the same boring sports titles. I have all 3 of the original J&D games and still play them quite often. I also agree with some users here in saying that they're nervous about the game since Naughty Dog isn't doing it but I think it should still do well. Might be the first of the series to not become a Greatest Hits title but that shouldn't matter. In my eyes, you buy a game because it appeals to you not because it sold a bajillion copies.

Good! Not everyone is rich enough to buy a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. At least something is done for the PSP or PS2. I only have a PSP, so its great news for me. PS3 and 360 do NOT deserve EVERYTHING good....

Im so excited for the release of the game. Im a huge fan of the Jak and daxter series. but Im woried that Lost Fronier will not be as good because High Inpact is making it in sted of naughty dog. i hope it dosn't fell flat on it's face

High Impact definitely did better with Rachet and Clank than Insomniac, but I doubt they will do well with Jak and Daxter. They'll just weaken its storyline and create worthless weapons, the two downfalls of Rachet and Clank.

I am soooooo anxious for this game, Jak 1-3 were my favorite games of all time

naughty dog is kinda leaving Jak out high and dry they are moving on to uncharted. Naughty Dog likes to create IPs then abandon them when they get tired of them, smart move in my eyes, since I still think Crash is better then Jak and Daxter. ( the old games mind you no this new drivel)

Well I think crash like most platformers just loses popularity no matter what. Basically Mario is the only series that has been able to hang on and still make good games. Sonic just about makes me cry lol.
