TOKYO--Following in the footsteps of Nintendo, Jaleco will release a compilation of six of its Famicom (NES) sports games for the Game Boy Advance, called Moero! Jaleco Collection. The games included in the single-cartridge collection are: Moero!! Pro Baseball, Moero!! Pro Baseball '88, Moero!! Pro Tennis, Moero!! Pro Soccer, Moero!! Pro Junior Basketball, and Moero!! Judo Warriors.

Jaleco has sold more than 1 million copies of Moero!! Pro Baseball since its release in Japan in 1987. The game was recognized for its realistic graphics, but it was also criticized for its balance issues, such as sluggers that could slam the ball into the stands with a bunt. While most of the games were never released outside of Japan, Moero!! Pro Baseball's success prompted a US release. The game is known in the US as Bases Loaded, and its sequel is Bases Loaded II: Second Season.

Moero! Jaleco Collection will be released in Japan in spring 2005, at the retail price of 5,040 yen ($46).
