Japan -> Buys Anime Games US -> Buys football games and whatever's on the movies/TV UK -> Buys the soccer games and whatever's on the movies Every country just buys their pop culture no country gets better games than others.

Final Fantasy III is still sold out like Diamond and Pearl. It's a shortage caused by the mere fact they are selling so many game carts they cannot make enough to meet the demand. Europe DS games are selling out at a consistant rate same with the US and Japan. No one in Japan has seen both game shortages and hardware since the NES era. Nintendo is on fire.

They seem to like a lot the DS, this system is more and more popular each day.

Nintendo and Square-Enix can not keep up with the demand for the pokemon games and Final Fantasy III. Those games have/are selling out all over Japan.

I'm glad I po'd DBZ:BT2 for Wii, it looks really good for a dbz game.

The chart isn't deceiving at all. If you want to split one game into two then that's how your games will appear on the sales chart; as two.

Despite a PSP and few PS2 games, the DS is still dominating the charts.

the combined sales of pokemon far surpass the sales of DBZ so this chart is a little deceiving.

"I don`t find the DS that great...these people are strange....or maybe I`m strange" You're not alone. The GBA was excellent so to me the DS was a natural, no-brainer upgrade. My PSP has serious ghosting and low battery life I didn't play it much. But over time I find the games on the PSP not only have better presentations but also deeper and more involved gameplay, and now my DS just sits idle and gathers dust. I use PDA's and tablet PC's so touchscreen is nothing new. I think if quick fun, small gags, flashy graphics, melodrama and character-worship were all I need the DS would be fine. My aunt and cousins and a number of friends live in Japan and they all play video games. From what I can see Japanese gamers are too eager to follow fads and dismiss the alternatives. Famicom in, Master System out. SNES for everyone, PC-Engine for Otaku's. PS1 ruled, N64 owned. PS2 FTW, Dreamcast FTL. Wii omoshiroi! PS3 takai! 360 gaijinppoi! Other kids play Pokemon in recess so I hid my new Optimus Prime I wanted to show them... You got the picture:)

Budokai is a lot of fun... I haven't played it in years though, and don't plan on getting back into it. Tekken and Mortal Kombat satisfy all my fighting needs. I stil can't believe they have MORE pokemon games... they've got to run out of names for those things eventually
