Japan Prepares for Biohazard 3

TOKYO - Today we traveled to Akihabara, Japan's electronics district, in search of many hidden gaming treasures. And we found some. Dragon Quest: Torneco's Great Adventure 2 was released in Japan today, so naturally all the stores were bustling with people looking to get their hands on the new game. There were several displays dedicated to the game, some of them playable.
There were also several displays of a game that will come out next week - Biohazard 3 (known as Resident Evil 3 in the US). We looked on as crowds gathered around several of the Biohazard 3 kiosks to watch the amazing CG intro movie. Every store had the displays, along with posters and other Biohazard-related material. It's pretty safe to say that Japanese gamers are very excited about the next installment in the survival-horror series.
Japanese publication Famitsu PlayStation has reviewed Biohazard 3 in its latest issue, giving it scores of 9,10,10, and 9.
Biohazard 3 releases in Japan on September 22, and by the looks of it, the game will be another giant hit for Capcom. The US version of Biohazard 3 will release in November.
