Japanese Fire Emblem release date set
Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki will be released in Japan in October.
TOKYO--Nintendo will release Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki for the Japanese Game Boy Advance on October 7, according to Shonen Jump magazine. The latest role-playing game in the Fire Emblem series takes place on the continent of Magi Val, where a past civilization brought peace by sealing off evil monsters with five holy jewels.
Seima no Kouseki's gameplay will focus more on character-building than previous installments in the Fire Emblem series, and players will be able to choose between two classes to upgrade each of their characters as they fight against teams of monsters. The game will also feature a new map system, which will allow players to go back to old maps to rack up additional experience. Nintendo has not yet announced a retail price for the game, nor has it made plans for a US release.Got a news tip or want to contact us directly? Email news@gamespot.com
