Jazz Jackrabbit headed for GBA
The newly formed Jaleco reveals its first GBA platformer.
The long-running PC platform game Jazz Jackrabbit is headed to the Game Boy Advance this year courtesy of Austin, Texas-based Game Titan and Jaleco Entertainment. Not much is known about the new Jazz Jackrabbit game beyond that it will feature a four-player tournament mode via link cable using only one cartridge. The game is currently slated to ship later this year.
VR1 Entertainment and Japanese game publisher Jaleco recently merged to form Jaleco Entertainment. VR1 is the developer responsible for Nightcaster, Fighter Ace, and UltraCorps. We'll have more on Jaleco's Jazz Jackrabbit as it becomes available.
