John Wick Hex Has Made Its Way To PS4

Many fans of the John Wick action film franchise were surprised when indie game developer Mike Bithell released the turn-based spin-off John Wick Hex back in late 2019. Now, the action strategy hybrid is available on PS4. Bithell first announced the move on the PlayStation Blog back in April, also taking time to mention how the editor of Chapter 3: Parabellum provided feedback on the game.

An ESRB listing suggests that John Wick Hex might soon come to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. For now, neither developer Bithell nor publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment has offered word on whether or not the game might come to those consoles.

In our review, critic Alessandro Barbosa opined that John Wick Hex "effortlessly replicates the slick violence of the films." While he gave the gameplay and mechanics high marks, he faulted the game's thin story and worldbuilding as major shortcomings for such a lore-heavy series.
