Joker Is Mortal Kombat 11's Next DLC Character, Teaser Trailer Released
Mortal Kombat 11 will get another DLC character later next month.
The 2019 Game Awards are officially over, and while the biggest news was the reveal of the Xbox Series X, there's plenty else that's been shared. That included a reveal for Mortal Kombat 11, as the identity of the next playable DLC character was shared: The Joker.
The classic Batman villain is no stranger to the Mortal Kombat maker's games, having appeared in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. For Mortal Kombat 11, The Joker releases on January 28 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The character will be available as part of the current Kombat Pack. You can get a brief glimpse of him preparing to square off against another character in a Harley Quinn costume in the video below.

Not much is shown--just the character intros. We'll have to wait for NetherRealm to showcase gameplay, presumably as part of an upcoming trailer or livestream.
One of the most recent DLC fighters added to the game was also a non-MK character, as The Terminator was released. For more Game Awards news, check out the stories below, including the list of Game Awards winners.
