Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road Mobile Game Detailed
Explore the history of Xehanort.
The team behind Kingdom Hearts: Dark Road has shared more details about the upcoming mobile game in a new development update.
Dark Road will be playable through the Kingdom Hearts Union X app, which is available on Android and the iOS App Store. But Dark Road is a standalone game that doesn't require you to play the rest of the Union X content, and it features "high-speed battles" and more details on the background of the villainous Xehanort. A pair of screenshots show a battle screen and cutscene.
But while you can play Dark Road without having played Union X, you will get rewarded if you have. If you've filled out your UX Medal Album, you'll be rewarded with points that can be spent on cards in Dark Road. This will only be offered once upon the launch of Dark Road, though, so any progress made in Union X after its release won't net you those points.
Union X is free-to-play and available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It offers in-app purchases of Jewel Boxes, ranging from $1 to $100.
