Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro are reuniting, but not for a new game, at least not yet. The two men, who worked together on Silent Hills before it fell apart, will provide the keynote address at the 2016 D.I.C.E. Summit later this month in Las Vegas, event organizers announced today.

The session is called "A Conversation with Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro." The pair will talk about their respective creative visions and processes. Kojima's close personal friend Geoff Keighley, a games media veteran who organizes The Game Awards, will moderate the conversation.
"This conversation will revisit some of their fondest memories from their own individual careers as well as some of the pivotal moments from each other's work that remain a constant source of inspiration," reads a line from the event's description.
It surely sounds like a compelling keynote. If last year was any indication, this year's keynote, which takes place on Thursday, February 16, should be broadcast live on Twitch.
In addition, Kojima will be inducted into DICE's Hall of Fame at the event.
Kojima and del Toro have said they are interested in working together on something new, though no collaborations have been announced since Silent Hills was canceled last year. If they do work together on something, it probably won't be a new Silent Hill; that franchise belongs to Konami and Kojima no longer works there.
It was also announced today that Fallout 4 game director Todd Howard will be one of the featured speakers for a talk called "The Art of Engagement" later that day. He will be joined by comedian Pete Holmes, who also returns to host the 19th D.I.C.E. Awards.
Rise of the Tomb Raider leads the way with nine nominations, including a nod for overall Game of the Year.
The annual D.I.C.E. Summit and Awards are organized by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.
