Konami Microsoft Titles at E3
Konami plans to unleash several of its games based on Microsoft licenses at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.
GameSpot News has learned that Konami will be showcasing several new titles based on Microsoft licenses at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Last year, Konami entered into an agreement with Microsoft to cross-license each other's game brands - Konami to make games based on Microsoft licenses on consoles and Microsoft to make games based on Konami game licenses for the PC (and likely Microsoft's secret X-Box console). The titles shown at E3 are likely to be console versions of Age of Empires and Motocross Madness, among others. PlayStation2 and Dreamcast versions of MechWarrior have also been hinted.
Whether or not Microsoft's first Konami-licensed titles, which include a PC version of Metal Gear Solid, will be shown at the E3 show is not currently known.
Hopefully, the first details on the cross-licensed games will appear soon.
